Linking Literacy and Health

The strongest predictor of life-long success isn't income, race, or educational level. It is reading ability. Since teachers have a great influence on reading ability, especially in the early years, this workshop places an emphasis on powerful early years literacy education.

Impact of Physical Movement

The brain's learning abilities are increased when multi-sensory activity increases. Students given a multi-sensory activity generate more than 50% more creative solutions on problem-solving learning experiences than students who are subjected to single sensory presentation. Smart Moves Consulting empowers teachers to incorporate strategies that tap into multiple senses to boost memory retention and problem-solving skills.

Examine the characteristics and benefits of concept-based curriculum and instruction. Learn how to create synergistic thinking in students of every grade level and how to aid students in their transfer of understanding to different situations and even content areas.
